Wrapping Up Relay For Life with Gratitude, Resilience, and Hope

On Saturday, July 13th our community came together at the Tulalip Amphitheatre for Snohomish County’s Relay For Life and an ordinary track was transformed into a symbol of hope, resilience, and the ongoing fight against cancer.
A Day Filled with Meaning:
Relay For Life is more than just a walk; it’s an experience that transcends the ordinary, reminding us of the profound impact we can make when we stand together. As we celebrated cancer survivors and remembered loved ones, the spirit of unity was palpable.
Kendall Auto’s Involvement:
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined and helped us in this meaningful endeavor. We were honored to have a sponsored booth at the event for Kendall Auto Washington and for the opportunity to connect with so many in attendance to hear their stories.
Community Highlights:
– Celebrating Survivors: The Survivor Lap served as a reminder of the strength and courage of the survivors. Clad in purple shirts, they joined together for the first walk of the relay as attendees cheered them on.
– Luminaria Ceremony: The soft glow of candlelit bags lining the track during the Luminaria Ceremony illuminated the collective remembrance of those we’ve lost and the shared hope of a cancer-free future.
– Team Spirit: Participants of the event were able to stop by the Kendall Auto Washington booth to receive some fun goodies and join together on the comradery of the event.
Thank You:
A heartfelt thank you to Julia Auve and the American Cancer Society for their dedication and coordination. Your tireless efforts ensure that events like Relay For Life make a lasting impact on our community.
