Kendall Auto Washington 12 Days of Caring Highlights

December 31st, 2024 by
In December, Kendall Auto Washington celebrated its annual 12 Days of Caring which featured a variety of activities and events that celebrated our community, customers, and co-workers.
We want to thank all our community partners, staff, and customers for helping to make these events so special. Below you will find a recap of all of the
activities we participated in:

Marysville Community Food Bank Toy Drive:
We partnered with the Marysville Community Food Bank to provide them with toys for their annual Toy Store. We want to give a big thank you to our staff and customers for bringing items to the bins located at Kendall Subaru of Marysville, Kendall Ford of Marysville, and Kendall Chevrolet of Marysville. Thank you all for your support and for your generosity! We hope the toys helped make the holidays a little brighter for families in our community.

The Gift of Slumberkins:
Kendall Auto Washington was proud to partner with Providence Regional Medical Center Everett to provide kids at the hospital with Slumberkins Hero Camp: The Full Adventure sets. Each kit featured skill-building activity cards and a skill-building hardcover book, mini friends including Armadillo, Griffin, and Platypus, a kid’s cape and drawstring bag, an Otter Superhero Kin, and additional digital resources. We hope these kits help kids at Providence further realize their superpowers and strength! We’re honored to partner with Providence to help spread some joy this holiday season.

Arlington Boys & Girls Club Giving Tree:
Oh, giving tree, oh giving tree! ‘Tis the season of giving, and this holiday season we were proud to support the Arlington Boys & Girls Club with a Giving Tree. On each tree, there were tags with wishes from kids at the Boys & Girls Club. Our team came together and bought all the gifts on each tree, helping to provide a magical holiday for these kids and their families. Thank you to our incredible team for your support!

Providence General Foundation’s Festival of Trees 2024:
Kendall Auto Washington was thrilled to participate in one of the most enchanting events of the holiday season – the Providence General Foundation’s Festival of Trees 2024! This cherished tradition offered a delightful blend of festive cheer and philanthropy. Kendall Auto Washington was proud to sponsor Providence General Foundation’s Festival of Trees Holiday Gala and Live Auction. The night featured exquisitely designed trees and wreaths, unique experiences, dinner, a live auction, and more, all in support of the Children’s Services at Providence Everett.

Marysville Community Food Bank Food Drive:
Kendall Auto Washington was proud to support the Marysville Community Food Bank this holiday season with a food drive. Our staff and customers’ generous donations helped support those in our community who needed it most this holiday season and helped the Marysville Community Food Bank enhance the lives of our neighbors by nourishing their bodies, hearts, and souls to build a brighter future. The bins were located at Kendall Subaru of Marysville, Kendall Ford of Marysville, and Kendall Chevrolet of Marysville. Thank you to everyone who donated and for helping to make a difference in our community.

Store Ornament Decorating in the Kids Play Area:
Throughout the month, kids who visited the play area at the dealership were able to participate in a cheerful holiday craft. Kids were able to decorate their own ornaments to bring home, or place on our tree. We hope this activity helped spread some holiday cheer and provided families with a fun activity while they were visiting the dealership.

Merrysville Electric Lights Parade:
The Kendall Cares truck lit up the night at the Merrysville Electric Lights Parade on Saturday, December 7th. The parade went from 9th Street to 5th Street on State Avenue and featured a variety of vehicles. Our team had fun decorating the truck and participating in the parade. Not only did we show off the Ford F-150 Lightning with the Kendall Cares truck, but we also had a 2024 Subaru Forester Wilderness, and 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV RST featured in the parade with the vehicles driven by the Mayor and Grand Marshal. Overall, it was a night full of cheer and everyone in the community had fun viewing the parade. Thank you to the City of Marysville for having us in the parade and for such a wonderful event!

Community Coffee Giveaway:
We were happy to treat those in our community to a free cup of coffee to help warm their hands and make their day even brighter! Thank you to our General Managers at Kendall Subaru, Ford, and Chevrolet of Marysville for helping out and for sharing coffee with customers at Kendall Ford of Marysville, and customers at GoGo Espresso in Marysville and Gourmet Latte in Smokey Point.
